Counselling for Anger.

It is okay to feel angry and express it. How you do or don't express it can be the problem.

It may be that your anger is related to something from your past or  you may be expressing it towards the wrong person. In some cases anger can be acted out in order to hide other feelings that they feel are not okay to express.

Anger is often seen as an emotion that must be under control at all times and not expressed.

Other clients may come feeling stressed, frustrated or scared that they might explode and don't want to do it. Some may want to come after they have chosen to be involved in some type of violent incident either physical or verbal.

Both are unhealthy ways of living with anger, from different ends of the spectrum.

Depending on which end of the spectrum you come from we can explore how you do or don't express your anger.

Where  anger is expressed in place of the expression of another emotion that a person is less willing or able to express I hope that by working with me you can feel able to get to and express the real feelings that you are hiding.

I can work with you, teach you tools and techniques in which you can express your anger in a healthy and adult way, or get to the actual feeling that is being masked by expressions of anger.

How you use or don't use those techniques is your responsibility and choice. I do not provide written reports for anyone in order to assist them in court proceedings due to anger problems.
